Slovenian Lotteries

Slovenia has two state-run lottery companies: Loterija Slovenije and Sportna Loterija.

Loterija Slovenije is the main lottery operator in the country. It has been offering traditional and instant lottery games since 1972.

Sportna Loterija was established in 1995. The company is jointly owned by the Ministry of Finance and, like Loterija Slovenije, operates a traditional lottery and instant lotteries, but also offers sports betting services through land-based venues as well as online. A large percentage of revenue generated by the lottery supports the Slovene FIHO, the Foundation for Financing Disability and Humanitarian Organizations.
